Craft Room at the Lewis Centre, Courtenay,
as we talk to candidates from both federal ridings ahead of the upcoming election.
Eat Think Vote is a campaign that gathers community members to ensure that food is an election issue, and that the incoming government develops policy that encourages a food system where no one goes hungry, where food is health, and that is sustainable.
This is one of the over 50 events taking place across the country as part of Food Secure Canada’s Eat Think Vote campaign, where thousands of community members will be speaking with candidates ahead of the upcoming federal election. The goal is to make food an election issue, so that the next government develops policy that encourages a food system where no one goes hungry, where food is healthy and respects the environment.
